A Bit About The Process
It all starts out with Glass Selection. First, we choose our colors, type of glass, etc, and fire/fuse our own sheet of
glass! This process alone, takes most of a whole day due to the heat up and cool down rates. One must be very
careful when heating and cooling glass to avoid thermal shock and shatter! Once cooled, we then cut, grind,
shape and drill our pieces only to put them back in the kiln and fire again! After the second firing, we then take
them out of the kiln and fine tune and polish them. This usually consists of removing any little imperfections
(although, some people like the little imperfections as it shows character and one can tell that they were hand
made) with a diamond bit grinder. After this..... IN THE KILN AGAIN! One last time just to "Fire Polish" them. There
you go... A nice new pipe!

As you can see, this is a time consuming process. It takes about 24 hours for one pipe to complete the process!
